What a lovely country pub! We had tapas which were beautifully presented and full of flavour. Service was friendly and attentive. We couldn’t fault it. Very good value too, 58 for food and two drinks each. I wish I lived closer as the steak coming out looked pretty good.

Nice cosy country pub/restuarant. (Not sure what else to say) Hospitality: 7/5 immaculate service! Everyone's well mannered, friendly, a appear to enjoy their jobs; (which does help) ;) Food times were rapid despite the growing service throughout my time here! Food: 7/5 Ghoat cheese tart had a good kick to it while not melting my throat. My main as known from me; (burger); was a unique type name, while the burger had an exquisite taste to the usual meat an patty. Afterwards came my cheesecake of the kinder Bueno. Which was incredibly nice a not overpowering! I don't find many places with such value for a glass of milk. Layout: 4.5/5 This is a chain establishment, a it's just what I expected from the ownership. What's unique is its decor, and a good decent view of outside. Toiletries were not room temperature like the main room, and disappointed ther's no hand drier. 1 High praise for the Owner who: -Everyone and anyone is able to have a laugh with -Loves everyone's well-being, a satisfaction. Leaving note: I almost gave my master rating of 7 stars! I can understand why everyone loves it.

Our first visit to this lovely homely establishment. We walked in to find the place packed.. luckily we had booked a table but we assumed we would be waiting a while for food, drinks and service... how wrong we were. Service was fast and efficient, food came out quickly and we were not disappointed.. it was all absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend. Thank you !!!

Absolutely brilliant! The service is amazing, so friendly, warm and inviting and the staff have awesome personalities. The food is to die for!!!! I had the duck bon bons, the duo of pork and lemon tart, all delicious, best pork I've ever had! So tender, fat seared correctly on the outside to give flavour and a slight crisp, the fat also melted on the inside! So tasty! My partner had fishcakes for starters and fish and chips for main, he said it was so tasty and delicious!!! I ate the dessert so fast that I forgot to take a photo, my pork also came with a massive bowl of fresh tasty veg (took the photo just before that arrived!) We cannot wait to come back, I must try everything on your menu!!! We also want to pop down for the quiz night some time!

The George had 5*review on Tripadvisor so we decided to pay a visit. We had a warm welcome, delicious starters and even more delicious main courses. Our four-legged family member also had a warm welcome. Highly recommended

Attended as part of a hen party meal, firstly the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is fabulous and very country pub Finally the food...... wow, I was not expecting the food to be as amazing as it was, all of us were so happy with the food I’ve never been here before as it’s not somewhere I would of thought of but I have already booked in for food next week Definitely recommend

Myself, my mum and my mother in law popped in to grab some food after collecting my wedding dress from a shop down the road - we had never been before but oh my what a find! Claire our waitress gave amazing service and was very helpful and in general just a lovely person to speak too. The food was amazing, credits to the chef! Drinks choice was excellent! If we lived closer, we’d be regulars that’s for sure.
